Summary
In between when Shane and Ilya return to their teams after getting benched and the start of the playoffs, there's still one more week of the regular season. During that week, there is therapy by proxy, a request for emotional support nudes, a romantic declaration about pizza toppings, a disagreement about who turned who gay and another disagreement about whether Montreal Voyageurs games are better than porn.
Ilya: Reporter got my number and is asking what I think about parliament trying to ban conversion therapy
Ilya: What the fuck is conversion therapy?Shane: No idea, maybe it's actually good my team won't let me talk to reporters

Summary
Being the best hockey player in the world (fuck you, Rozanov) and living in a city as hockey-obsessed as Montreal makes being gay a little bit complicated for Shane - he can’t exactly go out to meet a man, not even if it’s just for sex. So when Hayden brings up this super discreet, super high profile, super anonymous sex party in New York, Shane lets himself be convinced to go. In an unexpected turn of events, he actually feels attracted to one of the partygoers and hooks up with the guy. After, he can’t get the beautiful stranger with the golden mask and the lily tattoo out of his head. Even more unexpectedly, their paths keep crossing until Shane finds himself falling in love.
The game against Boston comes at a pretty bad time, Shane being consumed by thoughts of his “Lily.” During a face-off against Rozanov, the ice is pulled from underneath his skates…

Summary
Shane returns from the showers to find the locker room far more animated than when he left it. Everyone has their phones out, and when he sees Shane coming, JJ says, “Câlisse, Hollander, about fucking time! Ilya Rozanov got caught kissing a man.”
After the tuna melt debacle, but before Rose, Ilya makes the reckless decision to go to a gay bar to take his mind off of Shane. When photographs get published, Shane has a realization and devises a plan: he's going to ask Ilya Rozanov to marry him.
Ilya's going through enough without things he can't have being dangled in front of him. He needs to figure out a different way to avoid going home, because eventually Shane Hollander will realize what Ilya already knows: Ilya isn't worth what Shane wants to do for him.

Great concept to see explored! I love the mutual pining and the way the guys interact. I really like to see Boston have a bad reaction, not because I want homophobia to thrive in the NHL, but because I so rarely see it portrayed that way.
