It’s very subtle at first, but the closer the pack gets, the stronger Minho can sense it. Cherry blossoms. Minho has always enjoyed the fragrance of cherry blossoms, the beauty in its evanescence. The fact that it’s here and then disappears within a moment. The scent calls to him, urging him to run towards it. Claim it. Inhale all he can before it’s gone.
His instincts are calling to him in a way he’s never experienced before. Minho tries to snap himself out of his instinctual haze by looking at Chan, who is currently standing at attention, muscles rigid and surveying the surrounding area.
“Chan, you okay?” Minho asks.
“That smell. I-I can’t think straight,” he replies, his eyes scanning the forest around them, seemingly searching for the source.
“You smell it, too?”
“It’s beautiful,” Chan whispers under his breath for only Minho to hear.

Summary
When Chan wakes to a primal urge, an instinct he's never had before, he doesn't know what to do. All he knows is that he misses his boyfriends, severely. His boyfriends are off seeing family and he doesn't know what to do. The only person there with him was Felix, but he didn't want to bother him.
But, Chan soon realizes what's going on when his boyfriends slowly start to return.
He wants to hoard and protect his human boyfriends. Wants to turn into a dragon and curl up on them, to treasure them.
Yet, he can't because they're not home and they have a busy schedule. Chan can't mess up their schedule, so he does what he normally does. He hides away his problems.
Everything seems to be going well...until they don't. He gets sick and Chan can't resist his dragon instincts and need anymore. He needs his hoard. He needs to protect them.
