Summary
Sequel to Harry Potter and the Dark Enigmas.
Harry’s relationship with Severus Snape is almost perfect with all the sarcasm, quips, adventurous sex, and surface level arguments he could want. What’s not perfect is Harry’s work life. The Aurors have discovered a secret: Dark Wizards around the world gather for one night a year to showcase inventions, share valuable secrets, and swap sacred ingredients—a mysterious hidden black market called The Serpent Road. With Auror numbers down, it would be suicide to infiltrate it… but they intend to try.
Before he enters the lion’s den, Harry has another milestone to attend: Dudley’s wedding. If Harry has to see Aunt Petunia and Uncle Vernon again, revenge is a dish best served Snape.

Summary
Snape has been sentenced to ten years hard labour for his actions in the war, but either Hogwarts itself has other ideas, or someone is trying to cause trouble. An elf has died and other lives are threatened. Snape has to solve the mystery to regain his freedom (or as much freedom as he is likely to get.)

Snape returns from the dead and, as always, battles with his conscience. Meanwhile, Harry takes his son shopping, encounters regrets of his own, meets an elf who is too clever by half, discovers how to get up Lucius Malfoy's nose and is forced to choose between his wife and a fantasy from the deepest, darkest part of his soul.

Very interesting "twist" and well written. Glad i read through to the end - was initially put off by non-canon history and slightly OOC characters but made sense in the end. Parallel universes. Happy ending(s).
