Tsukasa was faced with an impossible choice. Leaving the village meant leaving Saki, but she would be killed by this…. creature if Tsukasa didn't leave.

Tsukasa’s breath hitched as Rui undid his ivory ribbon, watching in utter desire; his hands, which were resting atop the other’s shoulders, transferred to cradle the side of Rui’s cheeks. His fingertips delicately brushed over the lavender locks until they exposed his right eye; that component of Rui’s face had been intentionally concealed, too ashamed to expose the ghastly scar, but Tsukasa found the sight beautiful.
To see someone inherently grotesque, to the point where an entire kingdom had agreed to loathe, and still believe Rui was breathtaking in his own way… Well, such unconditional kindness deserved a reward.
“Rui— mmh,“ Tsukasa was silenced rather quickly, humming carnally as he melted into their kiss.
