Summary
It was lunch time, Baablu had been focused on the conversation Zam and Fantst were having until the sudden change in attitude in Wemmbu caught his attention. The demon was usually loud and obnoxious, always complaining or bickering at them anytime he could. But the way he looks right now is too evident not to miss. The guy is unmoving, staring at the food in front of him blankly. He’s suspiciously quiet.
Shifting closer, he leans towards Wemmbu. “You alright, bro?”
The question catches the demon's attention, and when he meets his eyes, Baablu realizes that something’s wrong.

Summary
There were no plans being sketched out, no Law guards attacking, no bickering among District 13 members over some stupid disagreements or past quarrels. Everyone was likely settling down for the night, having last minute meetings or grabbing something to snack on. Even with the calmer atmosphere, Wemmbu still finds it to be too much, very aware of too many people in one base and the dread that comes with what is coming in a few days.
So, he resorts to a secluded room. Here, he can finally catch a break from everyone, everything, just for a little bit.
Just him.
But where he goes, a certain “combat master” always follows.

Nothing worked. He could still remember the gleam of the sword lifting to meet Wemmbu’s neck. He thought he would be gone for good, that the Law leader would slit his throat and his execution would come early. Maybe Lettuce got impatient, he’d thought.

Summary
Mane burst another rocket as he focused on getting home. After a few minutes of flying, something caught his attention.
It was a tree.
Not just any tree though. A tree house.
Well, not really a tree house since the only door was at the bottom and it was hollowed out, but still. It was a tree base. Curiosity drew Mane to land a good distance from the large structure. Which chungie decided to go for a tree base?! That’s completely unoriginal.
He could faintly hear voices inside, muffled and faint, followed by a sudden loud thud that shook the ground a little. He couldn’t distinctly tell who it was until—
Laughter.
Loud, distinct laughter that nearly broke the sound barrier and could only belong to one person.
