“And guess what?” Daniel had yelled back, outraged. “I don’t want it anymore!”
Armand had stared at him then–how had Louis put it? That half-apocalyptic, half-blank look, his irises shaking vehemently as he stared Daniel down. “No,” he had muttered, fingers twitching at his side. “No, no, Daniel, you do not get to leave after you– after–”
“Fuck you, man. I’m leaving.”
He made a horrible sound as soon as the words had left Daniel, a deep, aching groan similar to the one that had echoed through the Al-Sharif Towers every few hours. The end of it caught on a gasping sob as he hauled himself up off the ground.
“Daniel,” he whispered, and a staggering sense of foreboding entered his body. He felt like cornered prey—Daniel in the lion’s den, except this time, there was no God to protect him from the teeth. How ironic. Daniel wondered if Louis was God in this scenario.
He almost laughed aloud at that thought as Armand lunged.
TLDR:
my version of Daniel Molloy's turning, subsequent abandonment, and eventual reunion with his maker.

Armand sighs, then purses his lips, but, well. “Yes.”
“Hey, I already was staring down the barrel of adult diapers in a couple years, I just dodged that bullet. No more old-age-infantile stuff, okay?”
“Of course,” Armand replies demurely. “Perhaps a chew toy might be in order,” he breathes very lightly, looking down studiously at his iPad.
Or: 5 times Armand has a thing about Daniel's fangs +1 time Daniel has a thing about Armand's.

Daniel forgot everything from the first interview. That is, until another vampire decides to gift him immortality.
Life as an eternally 29 year old is not at all what he thought it would be, not when he's stuck under his maker's thumb. Especially when said maker is dull as a wooden spoon to him. Life is dark and mundane, boring, until an old flame stumbles back into his world.

The little spiel surprisingly does not deter the person, instead he looks a little elated. “Oh, don’t I ever! Mind if I sit?” Muriel slides to the side to which the person sits beside them on the bench.
“Yeah, nah, I’ve been there really. My lot hasn’t been nice at all, though they’re not meant to be. I mean to them, I am quite literally disposable!”
(Or: Muriel has trouble trying to cope with the bookshop and experiences crying for the first time. Fortunately, a kind stranger has offered some companionship. This stranger just so happens to be a certain disposable demon.)

Asa’s last conscious thought, before he was lulled to sleep by the cool softness of the night and the rustle of the trees and the clammy weight of his husband’s hand in his own, was again of his wish on the star: let me know him, in every way there is, and let me keep him, please.
Squinting at the morning light, he clutched at his head, at the buzz in his ears and the ache in the bridge of his nose. It felt like something was growing, or rather, settling into his mind. And all at once, it fell into place.
It came like a montage, like an old photo album of a life that was slowly coming back to him, piece by piece. He remembers.
“Crowley!” The cry was torn out of him, desperate and guttural in a way he hadn’t ever heard his voice. At least, not in this lifetime.
Or: Asa Fell makes a wish on a shooting star. The next morning, he finds that it comes true.

Yes, Bruce had given Dick permission to go in his place as a proxy, but really, it was his fault for assuming that Dick was going to attend as Nightwing. But then Jason found out, and then Tim joined in, then Steph, Cass and Damian, but hell, what else was he supposed to do? Leave them out of the most elaborate hoax in Robin history?
At first it was hilarious, one-upping the core members of the JL, but it’s been years and they’re all in too deep now.
