“I don’t care what kind of beef you’ve got going on with Peter,” the woman continued, “But when a guy with a gun came in here to take your daughter, that boy didn’t hesitate to insist on taking her place, and if you don’t do everything you can to get him back, I swear, I’m going to every tabloid and newspaper in this town to tell them Tony Stark had a teenage son whether you like it or not!”
(Peter expected to have to keep his distance after stopping Morgan from being kidnapped. He did not expect Pepper Potts to do her best to parent him, despite the memory spell's effects. Reeling from the sudden influx of genuine care and support, it takes a while for him to get around to correcting a lie he told someone else, and never thought Pepper would believe in the first place.)

(When Tim was working to save Bruce from being lost in time, Ra's al Ghul found out about Tim's doomed clone experiments and had an idea. Of course, after Tim escapes and destroys much of the League of Assassins in the process, it takes a bit for Ra's to put his idea into practice, but late is better than never! At least, it's better for Ra's.)

Anyone who knows anything about Spider-Man knows that he keeps his identity under tight lock and key. It's in the second sentence of his Wikipedia entry, and the first thing you learn if you want to work with him. Deadpool is no exception, as much as she clearly wants to be.
Penelope Parker, on the other hand, is lucky enough to not have to worry about it on a day-to-day basis. Because as much as she is definitely still Spider-Man if you watch carefully, no one's looking in the right places. It works out great for her. Well, Deadpool has started prodding around, but she's not worried.

Malcolm watches Sirius trail behind Harry in the orphanage like a wounded puppy. It’s a delicate balance, trying to smooth over Sirius’s ever-shifting moods while not overstepping his role as the Black Steward. He suppresses a sigh as the boy gathers up a few items–a pinecone, a candle, a few stones–from around the dorm.
His breath catches.
The moment the child lifts the final stone, a spell is broken. He nearly misses it: the change only perceptible against the oppressive lack he feels in his bones whenever he is in the muggle world. In his mind’s eye he sees himself as a child, isolated and ignorant of the magical world, drowning in concrete and chain-link fences. He knows that, just as this child has done, that he would have clung to whatever beauty he could make or find. That in order to survive, he would have known where to place the stones.
