Equius gingerly grasped the leash in hand, cocking a confused eyebrow towards the olive blooded troll. “And this is supposed to alleviate this how?”
“It’s gonna help you relax and let go of all that control you seem to need!” She said in a singsong voice and Equius bristled at the poignant observation. “I think this will be good fur you, to let go and relax and enjoy being a little less…..prickly”.

Summary
After being held prisoner for two months Karkat is finally rescued by his guard, Eridan. Sollux, Eridan’s kismesis, helps them escape. He takes them to a place that can only lead to their deaths if they are discovered - Alternia.
Sollux and Karkat have plans, and Eridan has learnt that his former prisoner is far more important than he had previously thought. He now finds himself stuck between a rock and a hard place and is dependent on the troll he watched and allowed to be tortured for months for his very survival, slim as it might be.
