    Wen Xu to me is SUCH an underexplored character! The second-person point of view was an adjustment to read at first, but it really helps tell the story in a meaningful way. I also enjoy the friends-to-enemies-to-lovers aspect going on here. And it makes me think so much about how the rest of MDZS would have gone if this were canonical. *ੈ❀૮ . . ྀིა⁩

    There's something about women gaining agency that just hits the mark. Qin Su's restraint and awareness are so satisfying to read, and Lan-xiansheng is so gentlemanly. I appreciate his composure so much! ( ᵔ ᵕ ᵔ )
