Sebastian was startled by the question. Of course, it was not part of the contract. Ciel was 10 when he summoned him. Sebastian was a demon, but he was not a beast. Offering sexual favours to a child that had just suffered sexual abuse was, to say the least, a lack of good taste. Obviously back then, neither of them believed that the contract would last as long as it had.

A moment of silence. Then that instance of horrible understanding, dots connecting in Sebastian’s head and making Ciel half-regret asking, but he needs to get Sebastian out of this room right now. A moment of privacy, for Ciel to untangle the web of useless thoughts and emotions plaguing his mind, and if antagonizing Sebastian is the way to go about it then Ciel will do just that.
He will not order Sebastian to leave. That feels like admission, like accepting defeat. Pathetic little lord, falling back on arbitrary power to get his way.
“Is that what this is about?” Sebastian asks. No sir or young master, no mask of the butler now. “When have you ever cared about how I get information?”
“I don’t,” Ciel lies.
