Two Years. Cas has known her father for almost two years.
It's been two years since Gaea curb stomped her life and three since Kronos did the same. Damn. (The Triumvirate isn't worth mentioning...)
She's settled in to her new status quo and she's really happy with it. The other demigods are enjoying the fruits of their labor with an unprecedented period of growth and safety. It's awesome.
So of course, the Fates decide that things were a little too settled.
Aliens seem like a good idea. Sure, lets go with that one.

All things considered, Life has been going very well for Cas recently. Her plan is moving forward.
Her father is no longer dying, he knows who she is (not the original plan), but he seems okay with it (?). There are some unfortunate complications on her plate though. For one there is a very mortal sun god running around bringing all sorts of things to light like immortal Roman Emperors....yeah.
Then Shield is poking around just a little bit close to home because her father agreed to be a consultant. (A blatant insult given his skills.)
And now...gods, these people weren't supposed to come back...

Summary
In the fallout of the Battle of Manhattan, the demigods thought that life was finally going right for them. Their godly parents seemed to communicate more. Everyone was being claimed. The camp population swelled and new cabins were constructed for all of the gods, not just the twelve Olympians.
Cassandra Campeao saw this as a step in the right direction. Then the Giants came. And Gaea came. Things went wrong. There are Romans and they invaded and people, her people, died. But they can rebuild just like always. The demigods are a resilient group, until they try to live in the Mortal World.
The mortal world is advancing in a way that demigods won't be able to survive in and she is trying to see a way out for them. She's a Child of Victory and achieving her goals is a superpower. It's just another problem and she can solve it.
She's running out of ideas until she sees that press conference, "I am Iron Man."

The increasingly complicated journey of a demigod who just wanted her friends to be able to go to school....
Or.....I (the writer) attempt to fix my personal issues with the MCU by applying an original character and the Riordanverse.

Along the way enjoy my unnecessary references, use of dramatic irony, fluff because we deserve it, and pointed questions.
