Summary
THIS IS THE REWRITE FOR "CLASS 1-C's HORSE"
Brainwashing was invisible, no real sign of its presence on his body, nothing about him changed. Though his pupils being white held new meaning to it, sure it made him feel nauseous when he saw them in the mirror. But he can ignore it and instead focus on his ears and tail. He can stare at his family photos, and be fine even if he looked out of place beside his parents.
He wants people to pay no mind to his hair nor his dead eyes. He'd rather they see him as just an animal, as long as people don't look at him like that just because of his less than desirable quirk. It made it all the more easier on his heart that it stays that way.
Shinsou was born with a heteromorph quirk that gave him the physical features of a horse. Categorized under the mutant quirk “Horse Power", he hides his less than desirable quirk “Brainwashing” by hiding behind his more physical appearance. After Shinsou fails to get into the Hero Course, his classmates in 1-C come together to help him win the Sports Festival for the hell of it.

Summary
So his quirk is weird but not unusual in the grand scheme of things.
To anyone with eyes he’s a heteromorph of the horse variety and that’d be it. In fact you can even say he got it lucky to be conventionally featured. No long face jokes can land as well if he didn’t. Besides the horse aspect, he got it all. He got the air-defying purple hair, the lidded dead fish eyes, the gigantic forehead, the tall boxy stature that screams intimidating to your average short dude in their 20s with a complex, and normal human teeth™.
His appearance alone made hiding his more “less than desirable” quirk from his peers so much easier.
After Shinsou fails to get into the Hero Course, his classmates in 1-C come together to help him win the Sports Festival for the hell of it.

Summary
Hitoshi becomes a ward at the commission when he was 4 years old, all under the assumption that he’s there for his health and wellbeing.
Hitoshi is an excitable boy. He’s talkative and well spoken. He’s seen as oblivious and overly affectionate, greeting anyone he comes across with a smile and a hug. But it's clear that he’s very intelligent, he’s observant of how people perceive him and as he gets to know new people outside the Commission, he becomes aware of how wary people are of him.
When the War with All for One is at its peak, the Hero Commission makes the decision to send Shinsou out as a last resort asset. But things become complicated when others get involved and Shinsou has to experience the chaos of the outside world for the first time in many years.

Summary
This is a series of works where I project onto Shinsou Hitoshi as a writing exercise because apparently getting hit with inspiration 4* years after your MHA phase makes sense somehow.
This is my first time writing fic and I’m doing this out of necessity for my own sanity. I find the abused foster kid backstory fics overdone and that sometimes bro needs a home life outside of Eraserhead, it's been years let’s switch it up a bit.
This may come across as OOC due in part because I haven’t interacted with MHA in any capacity in actual years. Even though I finished the manga, I have a poor memory. So we’re going by vibes (and the wiki) on this one.
