Simon has been on Earth for about three months after returning on the Hail Mary with Ryland Grace and is experiencing his first thunderstorm
One shot that just takes place in an alternate timeline where there was no Taumoeba leak and Rocky got back to Erid completely fine and happily reunited with Adrian as a hero to his world and told the Eridians about Grace and Earth, for why Simon was even with Grace is in the full length fic before this and just diverges after the Hail Mary and Rocky go their separate ways. This can be read independently I just wanted to give Simon some stories of getting to experience Earth because I don't think people give him that too often.
