Summary
Looking around the place, which seemed to her mostly a white, aggressive square room, she wondered if she would ever be able to call it home.
“Hey,” Percy noticed the tension in her body language and turned her to him, holding her hands softly before leading them around his own torso and wrapping his arms around her waist. He held her for a while, letting her feel his heartbeat near her own chest and his breath rustle thin strands of her hair near her ear. Then he pulled apart and put his hands softly on her jaw, holding her head up to keep their eyes together.
“I know it’s not much, and it feels weird, but... It’s ours. Maybe not entirely, but we have to start somewhere, right?”

Summary
She always made sure she fell asleep with her back turned to him and some space between them in bed. She didn’t like to cuddle, and he didn’t mind. He usually slept facing the ceiling, one arm tucked beneath his head. It was reckless and chill, but she knew it was because he always fell in a contemplative line of thought before falling asleep. But somehow, every time, his hand ended up finding support on Annabeth’s hip (or her waist, her ribs, her thigh…) and waking up there in the morning.
The thing is, Annabeth loves it. And that’s what scares her the most.
