Summary
The nightscape of Liyue Harbor is a sight to behold, a true masterpiece showing off curving architecture amidst glowing lanterns. It is beautiful and familiar and something like the bitter taste of home, and he thinks about how good it would feel to watch it burn.
Kaeya loses his father, his brother, and his home all in a single night. Instead of returning to Mondstadt to rise through the ranks of the Knights of Favonius, he flees to Liyue to start anew in a land closely watched by gods and immortals.

Hannibal is a serial killer. He visits the funerals of people he's killed.
They notice each other immediately. Like recognizes like, and neither of them truly belong at the funerals they attend. Hannibal is fascinated by Will's terrible empathy, and Will knows immediately that Hannibal is a serial killer. None of that stops them from wanting to get closer.

Or: Post-fall, the severity of Will’s injuries renders him temporarily mute. Hannibal is forced to confront his past.

Hannibal stops Will from killing Clark Ingram. As Will listens to Hannibal whispering through the chrysalis, his empathy connects the dots and he finally understands what motivates the doctor.
