Summary
“You could touch me?” Buck says, his smile is crooked and charming but a little nervous too. He pushes his face further into the cushions like he’s trying to slip through and hide beneath the fabric. Eddie has never wanted to touch someone more, and Buck is even offering, but it feels forbidden to act on it, like he’s on some prank show where the presenter will jump out and laugh at Eddie for ever thinking he could have something he wanted without shame and that sick feeling in his stomach following behind.
But Buck persists, shifting closer, “If you want, you could, wh-whenever you want, I’d like it.”

Five times Buck and Eddie touch platonically plus one time they realise it's not platonic at all.

Summary
Buck has always kept his high school and college cheerleading days under wraps—it just never came up. But when a string of cheerleading-related calls sparks a debate, Eddie, Chim, and Hen dismiss the sport as a ridiculous reason to risk such terrible injuries. Bobby, never one to back down, makes a deal: if he can find cheerleaders who can match the 118’s physical prowess, they’ll take over the dreaded bathroom and laundry duties.
Eddie doesn't understand why Buck took it all so personally until its staring him in the face.- Language:

Summary
He’s fairly sure, in some faraway part of his brain, that Eddie doesn’t mean for him to climb onto the couch, slot his legs between Eddie’s, and collapse on top of him — Eddie’s chest his new favorite pillow.
He does know that’s probably not what he meant. But it is what Buck does.
Or, Buck's so, so tired. What's he supposed to do but take a nap on top of Eddie?

Summary
Following the lightning strike that stopped Buck's heart for three minutes and seventeen seconds - not that anyone's counting - Eddie starts to feel strange himself. While Buck is suddenly a math genius, Eddie can't seem to shake the ever-present hum of electricity beneath his veins. That he's also become rather in tune with Buck is not lost on him either. Has he finally gone insane or is the universe trying to tell him something?
OR
the one where Buck gets superpowers and all Eddie got was this lousy I <3 Buck t-shirt (aka the invisible string is a real, physical thing tying Buck and Eddie together)
Minor edit to original chapter order: I appeared to have uploaded CH4 as CH3, and missed CH3 entirely. The fanfiction is now fully complete, and in the correct order (woops!)
