“I’m so sorry,” Minho's voice was thick with tears, though they had yet to fall, “I have a stupid question. I know you’re mostly a food store, but I had a family emergency and I have to fly back to Korea, I have to be at the airport in an hour, and I don’t have anyone to take care of my babies and I don’t know what to do, I don’t have enough time to find someone and if I miss this flight my mom will kill me, but I can’t take the cats with me and I can’t leave them behind and Felix is out of town and I just don’t know what to do.” He drew in a jagged breath, his shoulders slumped and his gaze downward, “Do you pet sit? Do you know anyone who pet sits and would be able to come meet them in the next ten or twenty minutes? I know it’s a crazy question, but I just…I don’t know what to do.”
“Hey,” Chan rounded the counter, dropping a supportive hand onto Minho’s shoulders. “It’ll be okay. We’ll figure something out. Just take a deep breath.”
“I can do it.”
