Summary
"We are supposed to be deeply, nauseatingly in love," Dazai says, leaning into Chuuya’s personal space until the smell of sterile bandages and expensive cologne is cloying. "You look like you're planning my funeral."
"I'm planning the catering," Chuuya corrects flatly. "It's a spit roast."When an elusive ability user hides out in a hyper-exclusive, ultra-paranoid couples retreat in the Nagano mountains, the Port Mafia and the Armed Detective Agency are forced into a temporary joint operation. The problem? The resort only admits married couples with ‘impeccable synergistic energy.’
Enter Yokohama's most catastrophic former partnership. It’s supposed to be a simple three-day stakeout. But between forced intimacy exercises, a singular circular bed, and a decade of unresolved baggage, the mission might just kill them before the target does.

Summary
He flexed his mind. > Nothing happened.
His ability was gone. For the Tainted Sorrow was gone. The god had vacated the premises, leaving an empty, fragile shell behind. At twenty-two, Nakahara Chuuya wakes up to find that the god of destruction has quietly vanished from his veins. Left entirely, beautifully mundane, he seizes this unexpected mercy to do the unthinkable: he hands Ougai Mori his executive badge, packs a single bag, and buys a one-way ticket to France.
He just wants a quiet life. He wants to drink good wine, write terrible poetry, and learn how to be a normal, fragile human being.
But the ghosts of Yokohama—and a certain bandaged detective who was the first to notice the missing gravity—aren't going to let him stay hidden forever.
(Or: Chuuya loses his ability, moves to Paris for a quiet life, and inevitably collides with his past just in time for his twenty-third birthday.)

Summary
Fyodor Dostoevsky rules the dark economy of Yokohama from "The Spire," a fortress of silence where he hoards his most dangerous asset: Chuuya Nakahara. Groomed from childhood into a voiceless, collared servant, Chuuya believes his submission is the only thing keeping his terrifying power from destroying the world. But when a threat from The Guild forces Fyodor into an uneasy truce with his chaotic rival, Osamu Dazai, the equilibrium is shattered. Dazai doesn’t see a broken tool; he sees a sleeping god. And he is the only one reckless enough to hand Chuuya the key to his own cage.

Summary
Dazai stood there, beside the bed, watching Chuuya.
“He’ll be fine on his own.”
He convinced himself of this and turned to leave, but just as he moved, he felt something tighten around his wrist.
He froze.
He looked down and saw Chuuya’s hand gripping him with a weak but steady hold, his fingers clutching at the fabric of his sleeve as if afraid to let go.
Dazai didn’t move.
No words were needed.
“Stay.”
The request was there, in that gesture. So simple, yet so complicated.
Or: As usual, Dazai picks up Chuuya from a bar the night before a mission involving corruption, ensuring he gets home and rests for the task ahead but this time, for the first time, he stays after the mission is over, forced to face feelings he has always run from.
