Stunned by the voice, Antony lifts his eyes towards it and gazes at his reflection. Well, it's almost his - the eyes are different, the hair dramatic, and there are wings. Smoky grey, shimmery and filled with starlight.
"Well, come on then."
A lanky arm reaches gently through the reflection, palm up, beckoning, rippling the surface of what had been, until now, the full length mirror in the corner of his bedroom.
Their bedroom.
Oh, crap.
No. Not now.
Oh, please?
Not after he finally had everything he'd ever wanted.
Steady yellow eyes meet his own grief-stricken ones, as Antony places his hand in the outstretched one offered by his not-reflection.
"It's ok. He'll be ok. It's time."
A sigh.
A tear.
Antony's worries cascade from him as he is drawn gently into the other side of ... of ...
