“Percy didn’t kill Kronos,” is all Jason can think to say. His mouth and his brain are full of the last IM Percy sent, how deep the bags under his eyes were, how pale he looked. “And then the grace would come out of me.”

Dean nods. He goes to one knee, then the next, kneeling in front of Castiel. Digging a pocket knife out of his front jeans pocket, Dean opens it up and flips it around handle-first, holding it out at the same time that he tilts his head for ear to meet shoulder, his neck bared.
Castiel’s mind suddenly goes very blank, with a ringing in his ears.
“Well?” Dean asks, his voice only slightly shaking. “You waitin’ for a written invitation?”
-----After the possession, some of Michael's grace is still in Dean. Castiel offers to help him out.
