There were bunkers full of old men in boardrooms who would like to think that men like Kim Seokjin kept fighting to keep them safe. But Kim Seokjin would rather die in a Jaeger, with his boots on, in a screaming pile of metal and rotted radiation, than cowering in a reinforced hole in the ground. He’d spent too long in a hole in the ground.
Life wasn’t so much about living, now. Life was about how you chose to die. Kim Seokjin had chosen his fate.
Life was about keeping Jungkook alive.

Summary
Seokjin receives a wedding invitation from his best friend in the middle of the night, his car breaks down on the Very First Day, the lesbian who is organizing the wedding itself hates him for some reason and it's all good and fine until he discovers the shy kid he was so used to cling to him, isn't that at all anymore.
Jungkook's grown up pretty well…Seokjin did not ask for this.
