Cloud turned and found himself facing a mirror he hadn't noticed before, except his reflection was wrong. Too tall, shoulders too broad. Silver hair instead of blonde, falling like silk to a waist Cloud didn't have. Eyes that glowed with something far more dangerous than standard mako enhancement, green and alien and old in a way that had nothing to do with years.
"Well. This is unexpected."
Cloud woke gasping, tangled in his sheets, sweat-soaked and shaking.
Somewhere in the back of his mind, he could still hear that cold voice echoing:
"Who are you?"

Jiang Cheng turned his head back towards the ceiling, shaking it, "Absolutely not."
"Yeah right," Wei Wuxian laughed, "name one alpha who smells better."
Jiang Cheng lifted his hand and began to list off names, counting them with his fingers. "Lan Xichen, Nie Mingjue, Jin Zixuan—"
"THE PEACOCK?" Wei Wuxian screeched.
Jiang Cheng only shrugged in response, "Hey, you know I hate the guy as much as you do, but I won't lie and say he doesn't smell good."
