Summary
By now, Eddie shouldn’t be surprised when Steve shows up with something, but when he walks in with a nice flower bouquet on the day that Eddie is finally being released from the hospital, he can’t help but stare at him in disbelief.
“Got a big date to get to after driving me home, Harrington?” Eddie asks, ignoring the sting he feels at his own words.
“Hopefully,” he says before taking a deep breath and holding the flowers out to Eddie. “These are for you.”

Summary
“Eddie? Are you okay?” Steve asks, lingering by the entrance, but when there’s no reply, he ventures in further. The trailer isn’t big and he easily finds Eddie in the bathroom, feeling relieved that he doesn’t look hurt, but also confused by the state of him. “Uh, Eddie?”
His voice makes Eddie jump, and with a wince, he picks up a wrench from the floor as if to defend himself before he recognizes Steve. “Jesus Christ, Harrington!” He releases a whoosh of air, lowering the wrench when he realizes he’s not in danger. “How did you get in here?”
“The door was open and I heard–” Steve lets his explanation trail off, his eyes narrowing at Eddie. “What are you doing? Why are you dripping?”

Summary
“You know Eds, I was thinking, now that the world isn’t ending, hopefully you’ll want to be friends,” he wrung his hands as he spoke, stiff as they were from resting in the same place atop Eddie’s for so long, “I know high school sucked and when you’re back in the land of the living I’m going to make it up to you. I’ve been really trying to be a better person than who I was back then.”
Steve let out a long sigh, this felt so stupid. Eddie couldn’t even hear him and what was asking a guy in a coma for forgiveness really supposed to do. He shifted his gaze from his hands to the mop of hair on Eddie’s head. Maybe he could do something with that tomorrow so Eddie felt good when he woke up.
“When you wake up, remind me to show you how to take care of your hair,” he chuckled to himself, “it’s criminal to let those curls go to waste.”

Summary
When Steve wakes up from a migraine-induced stupor, he doesn't remember the man helped him at all, except for bits of their converstion and flashes of what he looked like. Steve's conclusion is that he could've been one of Vecna's creatures (possibly the devil), sent to spy on and manipulate him. But Robin’s conclusion? She thinks Steve's developed a majorly problematic crush.
While Steve's busy trying to figure out his feelings and sexuality, everything goes to shit when said “devil” shows up on his doorstep with the Party to play Dungeons and Dragons. Chaos, misunderstandings, and lots of feelings ensue. -

Summary
Dustin turns himself into a dragon. It unearths some secrets about Steve's family.
“So, you’re not going to barbecue me, right?”
The dragon made the same little chirruping sound it had made before, then tilted its head to the side as if waiting for a response from Steve.
“All right. No barbecue. What do you want from me then?”
In answer, the dragon made a low sort of mmmmmrrrrrr sound, and wriggled it’s whole body into a crouch. Steve had a fleeting image of Mrs. Henderson’s cat as it prepared to pounce into his lap, and just enough time to brace himself as the dragon fully launched itself off the shelf and into his arms. It was heavier than it looked, and though Steve prized himself on his quick reflexes and general athleticism, he managed to lose his balance and fell straight on his ass as the dragon took advantage of Steve’s graceless tumble to snuggle into his arms and let out a content rumble.
