“WHAT?” Kristen shouted next to him, loud enough Neil had to cover his ear, unintentionally putting the ring on full display. She was one of the few he least tolerated since joining the Denver Outlaws, always sticking her nose in other people’s lives. “What the fuck is that, Josten?! Did you get married or what?!”
Neil spared her a scowl, not appreciating having his hearing compromised and the attention of all his teammates on him. “Yes,” he said flatly and went to the treadmill to continue his workout.

Neil and Andrew get married without public knowledge.

Here is what happens between Neil and Andrew the two first nights they stay at the cabin with the Foxes in "The King’s Men". Andrew’s relief that Neil is alive is plain and simple in the way he touches Neil. But Neil is being too loud considering that the other Foxes areunder the same roof, and Andrew finds an efficient way to shut him up. The silence of the early morning hung heavily over the home, interrupted only by the rustling of trembling hands rummaging through drawers. Kevin knew he did not have to do this alone, but the thought of bothering the ones he loved sounded more hard than just deal with the cramps tearing through his abdomen.
He had been through this countless times. He knew what he needed to do, knew this time he could ask for help—but he also was used to carry the weight of discomfort without letting anyone notice. It was easier that way. Or at least, it was supposed to be.
But when nothing revealed itself on the last empty shelf, he realized that this time, his determination wouldn't be enough.
And then, a soft voice broke the silence.
"Kevin?"
And with a single word, his plan to face it all alone crumbled.
