Summary
Sanemi has been a part of a band through out college, a small death thrash band who gets small gigs that they can do while still focusing on school. It was always something simple and easy for him, it allowed him to take his anger out on something which was all he truly needed. Though his whole perspective on his playing and how serious his band is switches when another band starts to share the spotlight with them at a new bar, faced with competition and a certain black haired violinist opposing everything he's allowed himself to feel for so long he doesn't know what to do. While he can tell that the violinist wants to uncover more about him, Sanemi just cant let his wall down. No matter what he will always be in the middle of a storm where only he can see the calm while it hurts those around him. That's what's safe.

Perhaps its that Alhaitham is arrogant and always has an opinion that manages to go against his own. Maybe its how Alhaitham is somehow always there to pick Kaveh up from the tavern after a long night of drowning out sorrows in the corner of lambads. Possibly even how Alhaitham would leave sliced fruits out for Kaveh after a bad argument. Maybe it was the small signs of care peaking in that made Kaveh want to pick a fight. That made Kaveh want to push Alhaitham away. Make Kaveh want to believe Alhaitham hates him.

See, Aliza was just a 16 year old nobody to herself but to everyone else she was god. Their savior. Of course she cared about them, she was raised under the belif that they were her people. So she cared. She kept them safe, kept them believing. What else was there to do? Shatter everything? Making the town a spot of chaos. Let them know their beacon of hope was a fraud only existing as a God so her parents could be showered in gifts?

Kaveh just wanted to finish his architectural projects, pay off his debts, and maybe enjoy some alcohol without someone ruining his day.
Instead, he’s getting interrogated by an amateur kidnapper who won’t take no for an answer, playing chess with the same amateur who definitely has ulterior motives, and realizing that, maybe, he’s stumbled headfirst into a conspiracy way above his pay grade.
Oh, and the not-so-amateur kidnapper? He’s everywhere.
(Or: Kaveh makes one wrong turn and ends up accidentally kidnapped. Somehow, it's less stressful than dealing with his clients.)
