Summary
Mike Wheeler closes the door of his basement after their last D&D campaign. And his fear of being alone overwhelms him.
He asks Will to stay - and they finally talk about things that should have been addressed much earlier. Like that Tammy thing.
They regain their best friendship. But with every look, every touch - something else becomes stronger.
Did they both lie to themselves?or
Mike looked away, jaw tightening. “You could’ve told me,” he muttered.
Will frowned. “Mike…”
“I mean, I was there,” Mike went on. “All that time. With the bullying and everything.” He let out a sharp breath. “You should’ve known I’m not like those guys.”
Will shook his head. “It’s not that simple.”
“It is.”
“No, it’s not!” Will’s voice rose. “Because telling your best friend you’re gay is one thing…” He stopped himself for a second, breath shaking. “But telling him you’re in love with him?” he finished, quieter. “That’s something else.”
He took another breath. “Especially after he made it pretty clear it wasn’t his fault I don’t like girls…”Disclaimer: I used ChatGPT just to correct grammar errors and help me improve some of the sentences because I’m not a native speaker.

Summary
Tyler reached a hand up. He wanted to touch the sky. He wanted to pull the stars down around him so he could prove that nothing was brighter than Josh’s smile.
The sky wasn’t as beautiful as Josh. The sky didn’t have the deep warmth of his eyes, it didn’t have the sound of his laughter, there were no wrinkles or smile lines. No smell of aftershave and generic deodorant. Tyler didn’t know why Josh was so obsessed with aliens, when he was the most interesting thing Tyler had ever seen.
Why go to heaven when there was somewhere better far from the sun?
