"Where are you?" he whimpered, a note of desperation creeping into his voice. Suddenly, his arms began to move of their own accord, a ominous red glow encircling them. "Y-You!" Elliot choked out, whirling around to face a nearby bush. Mocking laughter echoed through the air before fading into the night, leaving him staring at the shadows in confusion.

Will chose to look past the way that Stanford seemed to look down on him, the way that every single word he said seemed to have an undercut of malice, the way that upon closer inspection, it was clear that Stanford didn't see him as a person.
He could deal with that, he could ignore Stanford's slightly manipulative tendencies if it meant having someone that understood him, someone who loved him. Will knew it was pathetic, but he didn't think that he deserved to be treated better anyways.
