For just a second she did something unorthodox — from all perspectives — her gaze accidentally fell down the line of her chest, down the curves of her chromed skin. She was mortified. An injection of adrenaline brought her eyes back up to whatever she could lay her gaze upon — aha! The washed dishes on the counter, and steadied her grip — and breath — while her cheeks were not so mysteriously burning. She held her still, listening to her body cues, to the quiet hum of So Mi’s fans, feeling the rise and fall of her more steady breaths, waiting for the moment the woman’s body would tell her she was coming back.
Then her eyes became as wide as those magnificent dishes as she realised she had done the perhaps most stupid thing she could’ve ever done in her life — for So Mi to come back, she was supposed to plug those wires back in.
An evening which could've gone terribly wrong. But it ended up clumsily right.

She blushed harder at the undivided attention and at the vulnerability of it all, hiding her face in the sweaty crook of his neck and giggling. Frank was about to lose his fucking mind, and she was giggling. God, he was crazy for this woman. “Um, this is embarrassing. Is that weird? Did I just kill the mood, ruin the moment? Ugh, forget I said any—”
“No, no, no, you didn’t ruin anything, sweetheart, you just made things better, cooler,” Frank assured, his voice roughening with desire, stepping back just enough to look her in the eye again. Once, she told him that she appreciated it whenever he made his jokes more obvious. He doesn’t plan on stopping anytime soon, not when it grants him the sweetest, most disarming smile he has ever seen. “If you’re cool with it, I’m cool too. Pun very much intended.”
