Remus hadn’t meant to go to the Christmas market. For fuck’s sake, he hadn’t even meant to be in the general area of Godric’s Hollow, but the weather had other plans. At this rate, he wasn’t getting to Wales for Christmas. It never snowed in December! Why start now, when he actually had somewhere to be?! Or, rather, when he was somewhere he didn't want to be.
The market had been what he’d done with Sirius, every year, back when they were young, dumb and dating. Well, except for that last one. The one that had ruined everything.
