My take on a third season fix it!
This is my what-could-have-been with a full six-episode season and competent writing. Everything that is canon is treated as canon even if it hurts (well, as much as possible anyway while also finding narrative consistency and getting everyone back into character). I'm writing this with the assumption that the ending was something like the ending Neil and Terry intended but that it was poorly executed. I’ll do my best to find a decent story arc, close plot holes, improve characterisation, ensure the painful bits hurt a whole lot less, and land the ending. Is this the story that was originally intended by Terry and Neil? Is it what the six-episodes could have been? I’ve no idea. But I’m hoping it’ll be closer to the season three that we and they deserved. I’m guaranteeing a love confession and another kiss (in fact, I'll guarantee two additional kisses).

Summary
One of the aspects of Good Omens Season 3 that contributes to the painful sting of the ending is that Aziraphale and Crowley’s romantic arc was left unfinished. We never got see them get together. Because we didn’t see the get together moment the simplest interpretation is that Aziraphale and Crowley, despite clearly loving each other, never made the leap from best friends to lovers- no love confessions and only the one desperate kiss. Ouch. That heart breaking interpretation seems to be the one that many in fandom are rolling with despite the pain. I think this is a big mistake. The simple explanation is also wrong. Let me put forward an alternative: Aziraphale and Crowley were already a couple by the time we saw them in season 2. Let's review the evidence!!

Two hundred years in the future, Aziraphale and Crowley travel to the nebula Crowley once created for a romantic holiday, and they manage to hitch a ride on the USS Enterprise. Aziraphale finds James T. Kirk even nicer in real life than he is on the news reels, and he can’t help but notice the way Jim looks at his First Officer… Aziraphale decides that some matters require one to be a little bold.

"Dazai-kun, sometimes I look at you and wonder.. how can such small body like yours be capable of hosting this much anger within?" Mori’s question stunned him into silence, even though he didn’t let it show.
Chuuya was an aggressive person. He looked annoying, childish, and stupid majority of the time. Why would Mori ever compare him to someone like that? Dazai knew himself. He was cold and calculating, and he was nothing — absolutely nothing — like Nakahara Chuuya.

Summary
DM Notes:
The party (Stan, Kyle, Cartman, and Kenny) rolled a collective Natural 1 on "Avoiding International Incidents" at a diplomatic festival, so they've earned themselves punishment at a rehabilitation camp.Party roster: One prince with anger management issues, one ranger in denial about his obvious bard levels, one rogue with a mysterious relationship to mortality, and one self-proclaimed wizard whose 'spells' so far seem... questionable at best.
It's going to be a long three months.
(Stick of Truth inspired AU where the main four are trapped together as a team at a rehabilitation camp for punishment. They either have to try to come out on top, or work together as a team to make it through.)
