The one where Hermione finds herself caught in the library after hours, researching time travel in the restricted section by none other than Head Boy and Prefect, Tom Riddle. With no explanation to why she has been avoiding him since her arrival and no reasoning towards a nighttime restricted section addiction (he has caught her more than once now), Hermione must improvise her explanation in regards to her actions to stay a student at Hogwarts.
God damnit... all she wants is a little quiet time.

When Hermione Granger is sent back in time against her will, she is thrown into the orbit of Tom Riddle. Armed with her savior complex, she thinks he might be redeemable and sets out to save him and change the world.
Author's note: I wrote this as a prologue originally, it is the backstory to another, longer fic. I debated waiting to post this until the actual story was ready, but decided to do them separately. This is just a bit darker, so I thought they'd be better separate.
