The Princess has had enough of pleasing others; this life she will dedicate to herself and what truly matters—her family. Summary

“No". Her voice was flat, lifeless. “You already killed James... If you let me live, then you can have Harry”.
Voldemort’s lip curled - not in amusement, but disgust. His own mother had died for him. Pathetic, yes, sentimental and foolish - but she had chosen to die so that he could live. Lily Potter wasn’t even choosing to care. Surely the child of prophecy deserved a better mother than this! Even he could give the boy to a better family to be raised right!
Voldemort slowly reached down and picked up the child.
He was still staring at him. He was still oddly silent. His eyes were still the colour of the Killing curse and brimming with power.
Yes, Voldemort decided, that was exactly what he’d do.
"You belong to me now" he whispered.
And with a crack like thunder, he turned on the spot, vanishing into the night.Or, the one where Harry Potter is raised by the Lestranges and it goes more or less how you would expect.

Later, she tells herself and can’t help the explosive “FUCK!” that leaves her mouth instead of the sigh it was supposed to be.
Or: Hermione, Harry and Draco end up back in their fourth year with no clue how, but that isn't going to stop them from taking names and fucking shit up.

Encased in a glass sphere like a fucking Christmas bauble, he sits, arms wrapped around his deathly pale body in a heart-stopping rendition of an old Renaissance painting.
As Hob continues to stare, drinking in the sight of his Stranger, horrified by the raw animalistic cage he’d been put in, the butler shrugs, “It’s been down here for years. The Boss’ old man, Rodrick Burgess caught it, and they think if we let it go, it’ll kill us all.”

Summary
Hob saves Dream from his imprisonment but is shot several times in the process. He manages to break the glass ball, but when he wakes up he is in his own bed, bleeding and with no memory of what happened after that. He doesn't know if his friend is alright, doesn't know what happened to him, and he goes a bit crazy with worry.
Eventually, Dream comes back to Hob and, after that, they start to meet more often until they become part of each other's lives. However, this new closeness will be threatened by old mistakes and fighting ancient powers is never easy.
