Summary
To your surprise, Kento exits the car at the same time you do, grabbing your purse from the back seat and moving around the hood of the car to hand it to you. You’re a bit stunned by the gesture for a moment, having to be prompted by Kento clearing his throat expectantly for you to take it from him.
“What a gentleman.” You comment, a small teasing smile crossing your lips. “Thank you.” Kento quickly turns away, pushing his glasses up his nose. It might just be the low light from the streetlamps, but it almost looks like he’s blushing. The thought of the strong Dr. Kento Nanami blushing because of you sends a giddy jolt up your spine.
“It’s nothing.” He insists, squaring his shoulders. “We should exchange numbers. You know, so we can discuss ride sharing.” You nod, hoping it doesn’t look too eager and pull out your phone and hand it to Kento so he can enter his number in.

Once again, Eijirou glances at Bakugou. They’re close to the apartment now. What will happen when they stop? When they get inside? Will Bakugou erupt into growling and sparks, like when that one reporter tried to dig into his personal life? Or will he get wilt and dip into reserved quiet, like when he just barely missed saving a child in a building collapse? Will he need a good spar and food, like the former? Or a nice hug and a pep talk, like the latter? Eijirou is out of his depth here.
Or: When Bakugou is, essentially, double-rejected by Midoriya after Midoriya starts up hero work again, Kirishima prepares to have to comfort a heartbroken Bakugou with the slightly terrifying knowledge that he’s right in the blast range. Except– that’s not what Bakugou has in mind.
