Summary
Two years ago I decided to make a fix-it-fic of sorts for the entirety of Bridgerton, starting with the first book/season: The Duke And I. This is that story.
What I have done is taken the Bridgerton books by Julia Quinn and added scenes from the show where they fit to make the ultimate Bridgerton story. It has been a difficult but fun challenge to fit all the puzzle pieces together in this, my ultimate Bridgerton story.
On top of that I have rewritten scenes and even entire storylines. This was written for my eyes only in the beginning so I have really just changed whatever I wished was different.
The biggest change you will notice is the addition of my OC/self insert (sorry not sorry) througout the story. Miss Celia Ravnholt.
There will be brief mentions of her in this book, but the books most closely resembling their original book and season are the first two before I then go completly off the rails writing an entirely new story for Celia and Benedict.
The biggest change you can look forward to in the first book imo is some healthier communication leading to me completly taking out the most controversial scene of the who francise between Daph and Simon (you know the one)
