Summary
The sound of cicadas filled the lonely street they take to get home. The deep orange color of the twilight sky is still beautiful as ever. Contrary to the hollowed expression on both of their faces.
“Yuusuke… what are we gonna do?” His head stooped low, not paying attention to the familiar path ahead. His eyes only fixated on the heel of his brother’s sneakers steadily walking in front of him.
“What else? We'll keep on living, duh.” There was a hint of annoyance in his voice but he slowed down his step to match his brother’s. With both hands in his pockets, he still wears the usual grumpy mugs that resemble their grandpa's.
“Guessed you’d say that…” Yuuji sighed “Hey… So, are we gonna let that thing follow us home?” He speaks of the syringe-shaped monster with puss oozing out of its cylinder that has been following them since they left the hospital.
“Tsk,” Yuusuke clicked his tongue in annoyance before he turned around and held up a hand sign in the monster’s direction. “Dismantle” In a blink of an eye, the amalgamation behind that street light got sliced vertically in half and turned to dust.
“Thanks”
“Mm”

Summary
At first, he’d assumed the visions were dreams. Absurd ones, at that. A nobody like him feared across the entire continent? Utter nonsense.
The power he could imagine. The rest… Sukuna’s pride refused to accept. What a young fool he’d been back then.
He really should have known better. From the beginning, life had never offered Sukuna much mercy, so why would the future be any different? Still, knowing the future gave him an advantage. One he intended to use.
Unfortunately, fate had other ideas.
When Yuuji swallowed Sukuna’s finger in 2018, all of Sukuna’s plans immediately fell apart. Rather than creating a host with a separate mind and soul, the fifteen-year-old boy merged with Sukuna outright. There was no vessel. No separation. Just one shared existence.
A situation that left Sukuna in a rather precarious position… particularly given his knowledge of what was to come.
On the other hand, the merger brought an unexpected benefit. Somewhere in the process, Sukuna regained his humanity.

Summary
So I'm Sukuna now. Great, love that for us. This will surely have no ill effects on my mental state. Well, at least I have a decent excuse for not remembering the Heian era, and amnesia is also a good excuse to be chill. If anyone asks about the knowledge of the modern world I'll just say that I absorbed it from Yuuji. Osmosis, you know?
I'm definitely not the ideal person for the instant murder powers, but... I'm at least better than the actual Sukuna was.
...I'm totally gonna have a kill count, aren't I?
