now that kitty thinks about it, Cirus only really tagged along a few times, but never to get a bath. just to stand guard and look at everywhere but kitty's face, likely out of some kind of respect because of how they met. a knight saving a goblin in a dress from a kidnapping gains that bond, it seems.
(or, kitty takes her boyfriend to a bathhouse and have a very tender moment)

“I don’t know of anyone else who would actually go along with something like this,” he said, brushing the question off with a wave of his hand, “you lack any self-preservation as it is, so I knew you would agree to it.”
They’ve known each other long enough for Makoto to recognize a Byakuya-compliment when he heard one. Translation: you’re the only one I can count on for this. You’re the only one who agreed to do it.

“Hey, bud.” Robert straightened in his seat. He forced himself to smile in order to hide his grimace of pain at the movement. “I'm all good. Just one of those days, y’know?”
Phenomaman stared blankly.
“I do not know.”

“It means that I’m fine. I appreciate the concern, I do, but I should really get back to work now–” Robert started to swivel back toward his monitor, but he didn’t get far. Phenomaman’s hands clamped down on the armrests, locking him in place.
The metal warped slightly under his firm hold.
Phenomaman brought his face right next to the side of Robert’s cheek and inhaled deeply. He frowned, his brow creasing.
“You are injured, Robert. Are you in need of medical aid?”
