Summary
Percy Jackson has survived gods, Titans, giants, college recommendation quests, and senior year homework. So when Sadie Kane crashes into his life with a stolen obelisk, a cursed crocodile, and a warning about an ancient Egyptian villain trying to rewrite the East River into the Nile, Percy decides this is definitely above his pay grade.
Unfortunately, the threat is coming for Brooklyn. And Manhattan. And possibly the entire mortal world.
Which means Percy, Annabeth, Grover, Tyson, Sadie, and three very stressed Egyptian magicians are about to discover what happens when Greek demigod chaos meets Egyptian magic.
The answer, as usual, involves monsters, bad decisions, and a lot of property damage.

"Slumping at the table next to his now slightly raspy stepfather, Percy decided to make one last appeal. "Paul, you can't seriously think me dying of frostbite or exposure on the way to see the Statue of Liberty for the eighty-millionth time is a good death, right? Like, I could do so much better."
Paul shrugged, eyes dancing. "I'm not the expert on death in this family, Perce. But I do imagine it's probably more heroic than dying of boredom in US Government class?"'
Percy didn't think there was a god of field trips, but if there was...he was pretty sure that they hated him.
