Summary
First neither he nor the other eight around him could understand what this was all about. It was just the wooden plate of their dorm with its name written upon it. But then suddenly small carvings appeared out of nowhere. Everyone froze, some rubbed at their eyes. Some seemed to shrug it off and wrote it off as an effect of alcohol. No one could make out what the scribble beside their dorm name was. Only Prince seemed brave enough to lean closer to get a good glimpse at the old carving and read the characters on the plate aloud.
“Chikuseisou… Guild… Dormitory?”
“Yes.” He answered calmly. “That means all of you are part of the Chikuseisou Guild, also knowns as the Aotake Guild.”
or: Where everything is seemingly the same, except there's magic.

Summary
The war is over. Peace has finally settled over Konoha, and Kakashi Hatake is supposed to be moving forward - helping rebuild the village, preparing to become Hokage, and learning how to live in a world where loss no longer defines every tomorrow.
Then politics intervene.
To protect Obito Uchiha's fragile place in the village after the war, the council proposes a temporary solution: one year of marriage. Public. Convincing. Strictly practical.
No romance.
No expectations.
No getting attached.
But between quiet dinners, sleepless nights, lingering touches, old grief, healing wounds, and the unbearable comfort of finally having each other back, pretending becomes harder than either of them expected.
Especially when Kakashi starts to fear the one thing he never planned for:
What happens when the year ends?

Summary
“How’d you manage to swing that with the Hokage?” Obito chuckled, incredulous. The two guards positioned between them cast sidelong glances at each other, but Obito was so shocked by what Kakashi had said that he hadn’t even thought to read into it. Something as simple as seeing the sun again had felt like a pipe dream. Kakashi probably just meant somewhere that he didn’t have to sleep on a cot covered rock, or something, there was no way-
“Oh, it was easy,” Kakashi said, using his elbow to push himself off the door frame as Obito’s brows furrowed, “Considering I’m Hokage.”

Summary
He wasn’t meant to survive the end of the world. But he did.
After the Fourth Shinobi War leaves the world in ruins, Kakashi is forced to stake everything on an altered Hiraishin jutsu, stronger and more volatile than the original, created as a one-time gamble when there is no one else left. It was never meant to promise survival, only the chance to send someone back.
The people he failed are alive again. The future he came from no longer exists. Somewhere beneath this second chance, remnants of that ruined future have followed him back. And beneath the familiar surface of the world, something ancient and ruinous is beginning to stir.
As Kakashi struggles to navigate a second chance he never asked for, he’s drawn into secrets buried deeper than war or politics. The Hatake clan carries a long-forgotten history tied to powers that existed before chakra shaped the world, and something in Kakashi has begun to awaken in response.
Caught between grief, guilt, and bonds that refuse to stay buried, Kakashi is forced to confront the past, the people he lost, and the parts of himself he’s never truly understood. Because this time, saving the future may mean unearthing truths that should’ve remained hidden.
