“Nah, dude, this’ll carry me for the day,” Nam-gyu insists, outright pleased with his manners of persuasion. Shameless. “Thanks, bro.”
Thanos has had a few girlfriends like Nam-gyu, egotistical and dirty-mouthed. The sort that would make a mean little face, call him a selfish asshole, and give him head two hours later. Real bitchy.

Nam-gyu shakes his head. Chuckling. “He'd probably find a way to fuck that up, too.” Then, unable to help himself, he adds, “plus, he’s not really all that attractive. You know? I mean—“ Nam-gyu makes a circular gesture around his face, sneering like a schoolgirl when he clarifies, “—physically. Don’t you think you could do better?”
“What about you?” Thanos asks, seriously, something darker lacing his tone. “You down for it?”
Slowly, Nam-gyu’s eyes fall from Thanos’ face. Something flashes in them, like he’s been depriving himself of something he’s been wanting. It’s that starry gaze he had when he caught whiff of Thanos’ pills. Hungry for a taste. Teething his bottom lip, trying to contain a grin, Nam-gyu nods.
That wasn’t too hard, Thanos thinks.

“You getting the attention you want?” Thanos asks, knowing there is no answer, only insult.
Namgyu’s jaw does an anxious dance that grinds the hard bone together. He itches at his nose again.
“You know, I’ve got it figured out,” He says, “You don’t see me as an equal. Never have, and now you don’t even know if you’re above or below me, and it’s freaking you the fuck out.”
Namgyu makes a series of drastic life changes and it kind of fucks Thanos up.

Summary
Thanos wouldn't exactly classify himself as a good person. There are a few too many people he's screwed over a few too many times for the words to leave his mouth confidently. That being said, there is a select group of people that he can say with 50% confidence—on a really good day— that he would not throw in front of a moving vehicle for a vape charger if he were drunk.
But hey, that's what they're getting themselves into when they decide to be part of the Thanos World. And it's not like they aren't using him, too. For drugs, exclusivity, sex, whatever, it's all transactional at the end of the day, and he doesn't play with that messy relationship shit anyway, so it's all good with him.
That being said, he sort of is in the middle of that messy relationship shit all because he got himself a fucking fanboy.

How original. And aggravating. It makes Nam-gyu twitch in his pants.
Blinding jealousy, outbursts he can’t come back from, inevitable abandonment. Drugs, awful sex, guys that treat him like shit. Shitty patterns are hard to break. Nam-gyu knows this more than anyone.
