Summary
The old septa died in Bitterbridge, in a dark, shuttered room. She had been ailing when they reached the town, plagued by a sharp, nagging cough Dunk did not like the sound of, likely brought on by several days of rainy travel. They had been headed northeast, towards King’s Landing, for the landed knight they had served for the past three years had little need of septas after his daughters came of age to wed.
Well, Dunk had been more maidservant than septa, it was true, and mayhaps she had never really said the right vows, but it hardly mattered, did it? She wore grey robes, for white showed stains too readily, and carefully veiled her hair, which she kept cropped to her chin to make it easier to tend to. Septa Arla always said a maid of her size would always stand out and attract trouble, so she ought to let the Seven be her shield.

This had me literally yelling so many times at midnight, i loved all of the differences that changing Dunk's gender would bring and i loved the fact that Aerion got his shit rocked by her!! Deserved for his actions in the fic and show.

Summary
After the chaos of the tourney, Prince Daeron Targaryen faces the aftermath of bloodshed and injury. Searching for Egg, he finds Ser Duncan gravely wounded by the elm tree — and is forced to confront his own guilt.
"His heart ached seeing the knight like this. Daeron did not know much of honour, didn't possess much of it himself, but he recognised it when he saw it. Ser Duncan had done what all knights should, he had defended the innocent. He had started an avalanche of blood with it, but he had stayed true to his oath."

Summary
“You’re so fucking infuriating.” Eddie spits the words out, voice trembling as he jabs a finger into Buck’s chest. “You’re exhausting, Buck. You’re so damn clingy and—and needy, it’s like you’re always there even when you’re not.”
His breath stutters, the tremble in his lip betraying the anger in his tone. It’s not just frustration—it’s panic, confusion, something breaking open.
“Eddie…” Buck’s voice is small, unsure. “What are you talking about?”
or
Buck gets shot, Eddie realizes he has religious guilt, and they have a dramatic love confession in the rain. (all in that order)

Summary
“Nice to meet you,” Eddie nods to them both, eyes sliding to Captain Nash’s other side, where the fourth member of their little team stands. He’s the youngest of them, positioned with his chest puffed out and arms crossed.
Eddie knows his type—insecure guys who get all threatened when someone intrudes on their territory. It’s an unsurprisingly common archetype among young werewolves.
“Evan Buckley,” he says. “Buck.”
He holds out a hand for Eddie to shake, as the name clicks for Eddie—the one Captain Nash had been on the edge of warning him about. Terrorizer of probies, more than likely.
And he’s cold. It’s a sharp contrast to Eddie’s naturally higher body heat, and he’s sure that it’s a strange sensation for both of them. When he breathes in a little deeper to check, seeking out Buck’s scent, he stills. The coppery smell is strong, overwhelmingly so. Buck is cold, and pale, and slimmer than Eddie would expect a firefighter his age to be.

Summary
Eddie running his fingers along Buck’s split skin and muscle should be painful to him, but Buck's mouth falls open like he’s never felt a greater pleasure. He falls forward into Eddie, forehead resting on his collarbone, and Eddie lets his fingers explore. Buck is burrowing his face in closer to Eddie, gathering Eddie’s shirt in his fists, doing everything to press himself closer and pull Eddie in closer in return. He traces the outlines of the wounds. As he does so, they disappear under his fingertips. Eddie closes his eyes and imagines himself extinguishing a fire, advancing to the core of it as he knocks it down. He presses his fingers into the center of each strip of Buck’s pain, listens to Buck gasp, and then there’s skin. He runs his hands everywhere just to double check. There’s just skin and raised scar tissue.
Buck breathes.
Buck is breathing.
Eddie has never believed in God, but if there is one person on this Earth who has reached divinity, it would be Buck.
A wing fic.
