Cas stares at Sam, deeply tangled in guilt, "He needs sleep. While I had healed him whole in the ward, he should still sleep." He looks up, "Don't worry, he won't have any dreams. I made sure of that."
Dean's shoulders slump but his eyes remain hard. "Kid can't live like that forever. Cas, if my brother dies because of your stupidity..." Dean pauses, inhaling patience from the air.

He inhaled and instantly started coughing. The rough feel around his throat made his eyes water and bend over hacking up a lung.
After he recovered from that he tried again, and again, and again, until he had the hang of it. He was a quick learner after all, so how hard could smoking even be?
As he inhaled another time, the smoke curled around his mouth, giving a whitish puff of clouds before being sucked in again then exhaled. He was basically already done the ’cigarette’ and mushed it down, away from his mother grave. The lit end giving off a rebelling last shine before diminishing into ash.
OR
Edward tried smoking once when he was little and ever since then he couldn’t stop.

Sam’s breathing started to even out as he came to a slow realization. He was never going to get better. He was always going to be the damsel in distress, the one always fucking everything up despite his best efforts to do otherwise. From the moment his mother died there was something wrong with him. And there always would be. It ran through his blood. And now Dean had people around him that could help him move on, help him move forward. Help him finally leave Sam behind.

Summary
I'm personally really dissatisfied with the ending of the Amazing Digital Circus. There are several different reasons why, but the largest is that I don't think it allows for growth on a greater scale.
There are many parts of this story I absolutely love, I wouldn't be writing this if I didn't. But there are parts I think are poor bastardizations of spirituality and unity with the Divine, with poor messages to send to our youth and ourselves; our character types deserve justice and true complexity. It's how we shape ourselves, and our culture- to identify with nuanced characters of depth and duality is to identify with each other.
In a time of hopeless jadedness and apathy, reiterating the fact that the depressed and alone should stay depressed and alone (and dead) is not something I agree with.
Everyone deserves the opportunity to do better. Everyone deserves the chance to grow.
And this is how I think the story would have done just that-- for everyone.
As above, so below. For the good of all and harm to none.

A drunken puddle, he makes a fool of himself at the bar. On the baseball field, one vote straps him into the frilly, girly, maid dress. But he's more exposed than anybody would have guessed.
All he can do is stand there, and they're all still raw.

When Caine's newest adventure sends the troupe on a ski resort day trip, she may finally have the opportunity to get some of the answers she's been waiting for. Whether they'll be exactly what she's been hoping for, however, is another question entirely.
Or, the one where Jax and Pomni have another fight, get stuck on a ski lift, and things pretty much spiral from there.
