The rings were Ningguang’s idea. Her own parents had a pair, and she told Beidou it gave them more “authenticity.” She wasn’t sure how to feel about it, especially after their honeymoon night, and especially after seeing the possessive gaze that crossed her wife’s face when she put it on for the first time.
