The room was finally quiet, the chaotic bass from the hotel ballroom down the hall reduced to a faint, steady hum in the background.
Pedri was completely buried under the hotel duvet, his face pressed directly into the side of Ferran’s neck. His brain was completely fried from the ninety minutes on the pitch and the hours of wild celebrating after, but he felt warm, heavy, and completely safe wrapped up in Ferran's arms.
Ferran, on the other hand, still had the energy of a hyperactive five-year-old who had consumed way too much sugar.
