In Nie Huaisang’s opinion, his brother’s strange behavior had started right around the time of his marriage - which he supposed was reasonable enough.
After all, it wasn't as if everyone hadn't known that Nie Mingjue had long been firmly against marrying, so it was really no surprise that he was acting so strangely now after the Nie sect elders had conspired behind his back to get him married off regardless of his own wishes in that regard.

Summary
