Juri laughed — a sardonic and cruel sound, then waved Chun-Li's sentiment right out of the air between them. "God, not that voice. Spare me the patronizing bullshit, alright? You're not my parole officer. If you really wanna stay here playing school teacher, go for it."
Chun-Li was walking through a minefield with this exchange but charged through nonetheless. "I can't let you just go off and interfere with their investigation. You know that. Just sit back down and we can talk."
Her words seemed kind, but her tone was lofty— It held a medicinal, saccharine flavor that tried in vain to emulate cherry authenticity but left nothing but bitterness under Juri's tongue.
The message in her eyes read "You're not leaving" in red letters.

Old habits die hard. When Juri is sent a video that contains possible evidence that Bison is alive, she threatens to break the bubble of peace she and Chun-Li have been indulging in.
