No one understood why, but Tsukasa Tenma had suddenly disappeared in his senior year of high school. The only trace he left behind was a note to let his family know he had run away from home. Five years have passed since anyone had last seen him, and Rui continues to create shows with Wonderlands x Showtime to preserve the memory of the previous chairman, even if nothing was the same anymore.
On one uneventful day, Rui is introduced to a composer going by the pseudonym TT through Nightcode, and it isn't hard at all to see the resemblance of the faceless composer to a certain man with the same initials.

Let's say, you were taking a walk in a neighbouring town, basking in the strong sunlight and praising yourself for just how refined and elegant you must appear to the public eye in this lighting. You stop at the pastry shop to buy the local delicacy for your younger sister, but the shopkeeper ignores you, and so do the other customers and passersby. It's as if they can't see you at all.
So to confirm everyone around you wasn't just pulling a distasteful prank on you, you visit the library and decide to yell-- "WHAT IN THE WORLD IS GOING ON!!!???"
But no matter how loud you scream, no one looks at you, not even to tell you to shut up. That is, until an unpleasantly familiar young man with purple hair and blue streaks comes into your line of sight, gives you a dead stare in the face, and politely asks if you're okay in the head.
(Or, Tsukasa finds out that some people are suddenly unable to see him, and things start to take an unexpected turn for the worst.)

“He didn't tell anybody. I didn't find out until he was already being operated on.” Nene grits her teeth. “I don't know what he told his parents but…”
“Am I the only one he doesn't remember?” Tsukasa whispers, watching Rui talk with Rin on his phone like he often does. He didn't seem surprised at all to see her or MEIKO, and he was talking with Nene like how he usually would too… It was Tsukasa, only Tsukasa, who Rui didn't recognize at all.

When Rui told him he'd be unavailable in the coming weeks, Tsukasa thought nothing of it at first. He fully expected Rui to come back, more or less the same, but when Rui shows up again, it's without any memories of Tsukasa. Faced with a Rui that's familiar but not the same, Tsukasa promises, to himself more than to Rui, he'll get to the bottom of just why Rui forgot everything about him, and make him remember.

Standing not even 3 meters from him was a tall boy, definitely around his age with wild, vivid purple hair accompanied by two cerulean streaks. Around his neck was a camera unlike any he’d ever seen, with so many extra parts that Tsukasa wasn’t sure it was even a functioning anymore. His grin was almost cat-like.

Kamishiro Rui is a social recluse - an outcasted sorcerer who learns that his magic is volatile. He has every trait of the Evil Sorcerer-type from fairytales.
When their paths cannot stop crossing, and they just simply cannot avoid each other, feelings are bound to be involved. In the end, does it really matter when 'villain' and 'love interest' overlap?
