Jamil thought for a moment how to explain it, then said, "Petting a parrot's back triggers a hormonal response because it mimics natural mating behavior. Doing so will aggravate them and make them aggressive."
Yuu blinked at him. That wasn't the reason she expected at all.
"So parrots can get, like... sexually frustrated? That can happen to birds?"
"I think that can happen to any creature that sexually reproduces..." Jamil pondered. "But, yes, that is essentially what will happen. So make sure to only touch his head."Series
