With Jason gone, Batman and Robin are stretched too thin. New villains seem to be arriving — or returning — almost every day. Gotham is left in a constant state of restoration. And the truce between Bruce and his two eldest sons is tenuous at best, and dangerously volatile at worst.
It would be the absolute worst time for his youngest to be abducted.

Fifteen years ago, Fujimoto Shiro showed up on the doorstep of the Myoda set with a pair of twins and Kurikara in tow. Freshly made head priest, Tatsuma forgives him for his theft of Kurikara- and brings him and the twins into the fold of the sect.
Fifteen years later, the Myoda are once again faced with blue flames- but their origin is someone far more familiar.
