Summary
Tyler ran his hands over his face, kept them there. He didn’t clock that there was no one to hide from here. In this room it was just him, back pressed against the door, shallow breathing the only sound filling up his ears.

“Josh,” he paused, turning the topic over in his head. Was he really going to put himself on display like that? The alternative, of course, was to continue to spiral completely alone. “You ever see Groundhog Day?”
OR: Tyler gets stuck in a time loop. Josh tries to help.

Summary
Tyler reached a hand up. He wanted to touch the sky. He wanted to pull the stars down around him so he could prove that nothing was brighter than Josh’s smile.
The sky wasn’t as beautiful as Josh. The sky didn’t have the deep warmth of his eyes, it didn’t have the sound of his laughter, there were no wrinkles or smile lines. No smell of aftershave and generic deodorant. Tyler didn’t know why Josh was so obsessed with aliens, when he was the most interesting thing Tyler had ever seen.
Why go to heaven when there was somewhere better far from the sun?

Summary
Tyler Joseph and his best friend Jenna Black have been chosen as tributes for the 21st annual Glorious Games, a livestreamed death-match in which only one will survive, and he knows it’s not an accident.
Tyler’s been on the Bishops’ radar since he was caught spreading messaging that went against Dema and its sacred Vialist religion, and he’s certain that the Games are Nico’s—and his family’s—chance to finally get rid of him.
He has one objective: keeping Jenna alive. But the Games are not what they seem, and Tyler is soon thrust into a strange and eerie world unlike anything he could’ve prepared for.
And then there’s Josh Dun: the kind, friendly tribute from Keons’s district that can’t seem to leave Tyler alone.

tyler joined a frat for the same reasons as everybody else: friends, parties, and an excuse for how much he drinks.
ask any other brother in kappa delta rho and they’d probably throw girls on that list, too. most of the ones they obsess over are the same copy-and-paste sorority stereotype. tyler’s never understood it.

Summary
Yeah, Tyler is upset.
He walks around the room with a small suitcase and leaves it right next to one of the empty sofas, as far away from Josh as he could possibly be without making it look like it is on purpose.
‘Didn’t know you were driving here, we could have carpooled’ Josh is trying really hard to remain calm and collected and not be intimidated by Tyler’s closed off demeanour. He is used to this cold tactic, but he is not usually on the bitter end of it. They need to talk about whatever the hell Tyler needs to let out: a fit, an argument, a straight up nuclear bomb… whatever it is, needs defusing.
Tyler lets out a small laugh, sarcastic and dry. ‘What, like a school trip?’
Josh grabs the opportunity by the neck and stabs ‘By how some of us are behaving lately, I would say so’.
Tyler doesn’t say anything at first, doesn’t even grant him a surprised look, he just looks around the room nonchalantly reaching out to the designated food table and grabbing a bottle of water ‘Did you come here to fight with me, Josh?’
or... the aftermath after their weirdest interaction on stage to date and TikTok gate.

they don’t even bother using the other bed in room.

Summary
He’d made the mistake of mentioning Josh’s move to LA during their performance tonight, which then, of course, led to some rambling about how much he missed Josh without ever really being able to say I miss you so bad please come home to me. Just some vague insulting jokes about LA, or something, he couldn’t even remember now exactly what he had said. Maybe it would come back to bite him later, maybe it wouldn’t. But what he did know is that now, he ached.
Tyler is pining over Josh and, despite his best efforts, isn't able to keep it a secret from Josh. Set during the Blurryface tour.
