Sakura only recently learnt that when you spend enough time with someone, you start to grow accustomed to certain sensations: a hand on your back, a voice in your ear, a tremulous blur at the corner of your vision like a dandelion swaying in the wind. He's learnt that when you grow used to these things, you start to notice their absence more than their presence.

He feels Nirei kiss the back of his neck, causing it to become warmer and flush pink. Three months of dating, and he still isn’t use to how easily Nirei deals out affection. “Good morning Haruka-kun.”
Still, he does his best to return the affection, because Nirei deserves the best, and he deserves to know just how much Sakura adores him. So, he turns around in Nirei’s hold and quickly kisses his cheek. The bright smile he receives is worth the flush of red he knows is flooding his face.
